The Dojo Mojo

A traditional dojo is a school for training in various arts of self-defense (such as Aikido or Karate). We created the Technology Dojo to train successful entrepreneurs and professionals in the art of defense against wasted time and energy. Our philosophy is based on the ancient principles of simplicity, flexibility and maximization of strength.

By practicing elements of Bruce Lee???s Gung-Fu, the Samurai Way, Aikido and other traditions, we believe entrepreneurs can learn how to: calmly evaluate every situation and make sound decisions; strip away all activities that are not essential; remove blocks and discover new opportunities; compensate for weaknesses; leverage and expand upon strengths; and master their essential tools.

Lee Rodrigues, M.Ed.

Lee’s background is in communications and instruction design, with a focus on persuasion, humor, and interactivity. He started working on computers professionally in 1997 while stationed at an Army base in Heidelberg, Germany. Since then Lee has worked on the help desk for the California Secretary of State, set up a virtual private network for a state-wide document shredding company, and ran an IT consulting company for three years.

After five years of service in the US Army, Lee obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication and a Masters in Education with a focus on Instruction Design from San Francisco State University. He currently studies standup comedy technique at the San Francisco Comedy College.

Lee has been a tinkerer and a problem-solver since he was a kid, and today loves discovering new technologies that save time and improve effectiveness. He now uses those same abilities to provide technology training and customized technology coaching and consulting services to people who want to take their business to the next level.

Christine Poremski, M.B.A.

Christine has over 18 years of experience in communications and marketing. After receiving a Bachelor’s in Communications from Penn State, she launched her career in advertising, working for Foote, Cone and Belding in New York and Saatchi and Saatchi in San Francisco. Since earning a Master’s in Business Administration from the Anderson School at UCLA, she has held a variety of marketing management positions, including a Silicon Valley technology start-up company and the Davis Bynum Winery in the Russian River Valley.

Most recently Christine provided marketing and fundraising services as Director of Development for Youth and Family Enrichment Services, a non-profit social services agency, and the National Brain Tumor Foundation, a non-profit research and patient services organization. These positions provided a great opportunity to craft effective and inspirational messaging on topics that included domestic violence, mental health and brain tumor issues.

Christine has a passion for helping people discover and articulate their unique offerings in positive and powerful ways. The Technology Dojo the perfect place for her to apply her skills and experience in messaging, marketing, strategic planning, and facilitation.
