I am always amazed how blogging is sold as a catch all. IMO, most businesses have many better things to do than struggle with blogging. The results for the time put in are not worth it unless you BLOG is your business. Focus on advertising and marketing to the sites that already focus on your industry. You will save time, help the real publishers and get results from passinate readers, not someone who fell into you BLOG from Google and probably is not interested in your site, let alone business.

Michael,
One way to clone a WordPress site is to.

1.Export all from the Manage menu.
2.Next copy the entire wp-content folder which contains your themes and plugi-ns.

3. Fine tune permalinks and other settings.

Sounds like the could be a wordpress cloning plugin? Good question for the WordPress forums.

Thanks for the comment Michael.

This is an excellent overview of how to use WordPress for your website. I will be passing on to my clients for their own education. Style Master, Firebug, SEO All in One plugin, this could have been 4 posts! Nice job.

Is there a WordPress plugin to clone a site? So for instance, I've created a WordPress site for a client that I'm happy with, and I want to have a similar structure/style/layout for another project. Could you use the export feature and then import that into the new project? Just curious.
