Boost Conversion - FREE Landing Page Makeover!

Date November 5, 2008

Roberta “I Just Like Helping People” Rosenberg provides some tough love with her post on Copyblogger today.

She points out that in tough economic times your survival depends on being able to play smarter:

That means doing more of what makes you $$$ and less of what doesn’t.

I know that sounds simple, that’s because it is. What’s hard is taking an objective, clear-eyed look at your marketing efforts and examining/testing the ways to make a good plan and/or campaign better. In sunny economic climes, good may be good enough. But come stormy weather - and I’m thinking this is looking like a deluge - good enough simply ain’t.

She offers a free Landing Page Makeover to help you convert more visitors to your web site into buyers of your product:

The Copywriting Maven… will personally review all your information and present a smart, 10-point critique of the ways you can improve the effectiveness of your current landing page in an upcoming post on Copyblogger — so not only do you get fresh ideas to boost your revenue, you get a lot of new eyeballs for your product/service promotion, too. That’s a win-win-win for everyone.

OK, it’s not totally free.  She does require two things in exchange:

  • you must make a contribution to Heifer International that is equivalent to the value of one sale to you, and
  • you must also provide detailed information about your goals, your target customer, and your current click-through and conversion rates.
