Order Your Pages With pageMash

Have you ever been frustrated by not being able to change the order of your pages? Is there a page on your site that you would prefer not to be displayed?
PUT YOUR WORDPRESS PAGES IN ORDER
Most WordPress themes display your page titles in tabs across the top of the screen, and as a default, the tabs are shown in the chronological order, with the first one you created showing first. Joel Starnes in the UK created a WordPress plugin called pageMash, which enables you to select the order in which you would like your pages to appear:
“[The pageMash plugin] allows you to drag-and-drop the pages into the order you like, modify the page structure by dragging a page to become a child or parent and toggle the page to be hidden from output.”
WANT TO HIDE A PAGE?
Another great feature of pageMash is that it lets you hide a page from navigation. For example, if you’ve created a “thank you” page for people who sign up for your mailing list, you don’t want a link to that showing up in your site’s main navigation.
PageMash lets you “hide” any page you want.

I love pageMash, but sometimes it doesn’t refresh right away.
For example, let’s say you click on the pageMash plugin, reorder your pages, submit, and see the “Database Updated” notification. Great! Now you go to your site, and hit the refresh button (crt+R), and… nothing changed!
Don’t panic.
The site is usually updated by the next day. Since this is not a plugin you’ll use that often, just get used to the fact that you will not get immediate gratification.
